Outreach to promote the health and wellness of the residents of Connecticut is a fundamental component of the Health Center's clinical, research and educational programs.
Our medical students and physicians volunteer hundreds of hours to clinics that serve homeless persons, migrant farm workers and others who lack access to regular health care.
Our dental students and faculty provide most of the oral health care to the underserved in Connecticut through their work at community clinics around the state.
The Health Center's active support and participation for these and many other programs meaningfully improves the welfare of Connecticut residents, including many of its most
vulnerable citizens. |
