UConn Health Urgent Care

 

UConn Health Urgent Care at Storrs Center provides medical care on a walk-in basis. Care is available when you need medical assistance and can’t wait until an appointment at a physician’s office is available. No appointment is necessary. Our board-certified emergency medicine physicians can treat a range of health issues that are not life-threatening, but need prompt attention. X-ray and laboratory services are conveniently provided at the same location.

Our Services

UConn Health Urgent Care provides treatment for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries. We are able to serve the entire family and can handle a variety of conditions ranging from sinus infections and pneumonia to cuts that need stitches, breaks and sprains, and more.

The following is an example of what we treat:

  • Acute work-related injuries
  • Breaks and sprains
  • Colds and flu
  • Ear aches and infections
  • Immunizations and vaccinations (work and college)
  • Minor cuts, scrapes and burns
  • Minor eye infections such as pink eye
  • Stitches and removal of stitches
  • Strep throat
  • Upper respiratory problems
  • Urinary tract infections

UConn Health Urgent Care also provides a range of affordable services including:

  • Pregnancy tests
  • Sports, school, and camp physicals
  • TB skin tests

Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Weekends and Holidays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
